Cardas Audio
In 1980 George Cardas founded the company Cardas Audio to put his insights in the field of audio cables into practice. The company is located in the state of Oregon in the US and George is still the designer there and his daughter runs the company.

The company's logo refers to the Golden Section, which is a natural mathematical relationship in this case, illustrated in this case by the Cardas logo with a drawing of a cochlea. This ratio would also be important, according to Cardas, for the transmission of an audio signal in which it is prevented by having the layers of the litz wires in the cable to be related to the Golden Ratio in order to prevent resonances in the cable due to current fluctuations.
