The Jupiter Condenser copper foil, wax & paper series are high-quality capacitors specially designed for audio applications. Each capacitor is a precision wound capacitor of the best materials and is carefully manufactured by hand. For the impregnation of the unbleached special condenser paper with beeswax use is made of Jupiter Condensor computer-controlled wax-vacuum impregnation system based on the techniques of Western Electric and RCA. The beeswax contains the ingredient propolis has a strong antioxidant effect to protect the conductive film, the oxygen-free copper, from oxidation.

The 99.99% pure silver leads together with the copper foil guarantee the lowest possible resistance in your circuit.The material of the housing is impregnated with phenolic resin just like the end of the capacitor, making it extremely moisture-resistant and able to withstand high temperatures without dripping or melting.
The solid wax and paper construction thus forms a very well mechanically damped capacitor free of mechanical and electrostatic resonances.
